"The original location of Lou's records was in Cardiff, a block away from my jr high bus stop. It was here in 1980 that I first became exposed to the punk aesthetic. It was intimidating, disturbing and I grew to embrace and incorporate it completely. Artists Winston Smith (Dead Kennedys), Raymond Pettybone (Black Flag), Shawn Kerri (Germs, Circle Jerks) and Jamie Reid (Sex Pistols) all became major influences on my art."
