Winterland Productions - San Francisco, CA - Handbills

WInterland was a large venue in San Francisco that had traditionally shown Ice Capades and other skating acts. As the Fillmore began to draw larger and larger crowds, Graham started putting on bigger shows at Winterland, featuring acts such as Jimi Hendrix, Cream, and Traffic.

In 1970, Paul Baratta, Bill Graham's right hand man, left to found Winterland Productions. They had a short run of posters and handbills created by David Singer and Randy Tuten.
