Pepperland was Marin County's answer to the Fillmore. By the time it closed in 1972, the venue hosted concerts by many seminal artists such as Pink Floyd, Chuck Berry and Frank Zappa. The venue was known for their state-of-the-art sound system set up by Meyer Sound.
