First signed in 1962, The Beach Boys defined themselves and their era with their pop-oriented singles about surfing, cars, and girls, releasing numerous #1 hits and albums. By the mid-60s their eccentric leader and composer Brian Wilson began crafting ingenious melodic multi-layered songs and harmonies, epitomized by the classic "Good Vibrations".
